Copper Mt (Feb 13')

This trip was pretty much unexpected! My parents had planned out my sister's 21st birthday down at the Family Condo at Copper. I was not able to come due to $$ and school, however, my awesome daddy decided to help me pay for the flight ticket so I can be part of her BIG 21st bday! It was worth it because I've missed her birthday since 2005 because her birthday is on Valentine Day! 

Here is short story how it all happened!
Emily had NO IDEA I flew out to Copper to celebrate her 21st b-day! I came in day early (Wed 2/13) and took a shuttle from Denver airport to Copper. When arrived there I decorated the place, doing some homework, and grab skiing on Thursday morning before the gang arrives. My mom texted me when they were coming up the elevator the Condo. At first Emily was totally puzzled because I've decorated the front door, she kept on asking my mom what is going on?! My mom answered said I have no idea maybe Steve and Janelle had it there for you! Then Emily opened the door really slow while I just stood right there. She was totally shocked and kept on asking me What are you doing here?! How you got here?! Why?! OMGosh!!
It was awesome reaction!!

That night (2/14- Em's bday) we went out for dinner and em had her first legal drink! Rest of our time there we skied and hang around the village. They had fireworks and fire shows on Friday night. Sunday we all headed back home and parents drop me off at the airport. 

I was happy to be able to be part of it and ski with my dad and rest of the party gang!

You see the hill with bumps in the middle, that's double black diamond trail. Guess who skied down that one?! ME!!! Yup, I made it!

Dad took pic of me going down. I some how fell and lost one of my skis, Thank God this nice lady helped me grab it for me since my Dad, Matt or Taylor was too chicken to go down! You will have to drop jump about 2-3 feet first then ski down...CRAZY! heetee

What a GREAT time I had with my family and others! I am already looking froward to next year and hopefully will beat my record of 44 mph and do more double black diamonds! Yup, I'm a faithful skier! (Smiles!)<><
